Celina business brokers and M&A advisors
MDR & Associates, an M&A advisory firm, helps Celina owners sell profitable companies, from the first opinion of value to funds wired, and represents only the seller. Celina, on State Highway 289 in Collin and Denton counties, was ranked by the Dallas Business Journal as the fastest-growing city in the Metroplex three years running, and our Frisco office is close by.
A town that moved to the railroad and built a square
In 1902 Celina's merchants moved the whole town closer to the St. Louis, San Francisco and Texas Railway. In 1910 and 1911, resident J. Fred Smith rebuilt the business district from a row of frame buildings facing the tracks into uniform brick buildings around a square, and that Downtown Square still defines the city. By 1937 Celina had cotton gins, grain elevators and a range of shops and services.
The 2020 census counted 16,739 residents. The Dallas Business Journal ranking covered 2019, 2020 and 2021, and the city calls itself the first gigabit city in Texas, with fiber internet reaching about 9,300 homes as of 2021.

Growth that a buyer can believe
When a company grows fast alongside its town, buyers ask a hard question: how much of this growth came from the market, and how much will continue under a new owner? The best answer is evidence. Show three years of results with steady margins, a backlog or schedule of recurring work and a team that can take on more volume without you on every job.
If you run an HVAC, plumbing, pest control, landscaping or garage door company serving Celina's new neighborhoods, that is the core of our home services practice. If your business needs a documented value for a partner buyout or a lender, a formal business valuation is available as a separate service.
Fast growth also strains systems. Buyers look for scheduling software, job costing and financial statements that close on time each month, because those show the company can keep growing without breaking.
Meetings, fees and who negotiates for a Celina owner
We are based in the Metroplex, so meetings at your office or somewhere private in Celina are easy. First comes a free discovery meeting; after we study three years of financials, you receive our opinion of value. Owners farther south can read about our work in Dallas. In every case, a principal of the firm negotiates on your behalf, and there is no fee unless the company is sold.

Questions owners in Celina ask
My Celina company has grown fast. Will buyers pay for future growth?
Buyers pay mostly for proven earnings, but a steady growth record can support a higher multiple. Some buyers offer part of the price as an earnout, a payment tied to future results. We explain the trade-offs before you accept any structure.
Is it better to sell now or wait for Celina to grow more?
No one can promise what the market will do. A better question is whether your company is ready: clean records, a team that runs without you and customers that repeat. We give you an honest read on timing when we first meet.
