Frisco business brokers and M&A advisors
MDR & Associates is headquartered in Frisco, where our corporate office sits at 1518 Legacy Drive, Suite 220, and we serve owners of Frisco companies with $3 million to $100 million of revenue as business brokers and M&A advisors. We sit on the seller's side only, setting a value, lining up qualified buyers who have signed confidentiality agreements and running competing offers against one another. Frisco counted 200,509 residents in 2020 and spreads across Collin and Denton counties.
From a railroad stop to headquarters, stadiums and schools
Frisco was established in 1902 on the St. Louis–San Francisco Railway, the line everyone called the Frisco. The settlement was first named Emerson and became Frisco City in 1904, taking the railroad's nickname. In 2017 it was named the fastest-growing city in the United States, the McKinney–Frisco urban area counted 504,803 people in 2020, and Frisco alone was estimated at more than 247,000 residents in March 2026.
The city's biggest employers now are the Frisco school district, the city government, T-Mobile USA and Keurig Dr Pepper. Gearbox Software has its headquarters here, and so does the PGA of America. The Dallas Cowboys run their headquarters at The Star, FC Dallas plays at Toyota Stadium beside the National Soccer Hall of Fame, and Riders Field and the Comerica Center fill out the calendar. Stonebriar Centre, a regional mall of about 165 stores, and a 310,000-square-foot IKEA anchor the retail side.
The Dallas North Tollway, the Sam Rayburn Tollway, Preston Road and U.S. 380 all run through the city, and Dallas Love Field and DFW International Airport are each about 25 miles away. Growth on this scale needs trade contractors, facility and business services firms and distributors, and those are among the sectors we know best.

Selling a company in Frisco without the whole city finding out
Even in a city of 200,000, owners tend to know one another, and a sale that leaks can unsettle employees and invite competitors to call your customers. Our process is built for that. Buyers see a blind profile first, and nothing that identifies you is released until they register with us, sign an NDA and fill in a financial profile showing they can fund the deal.
The first buyers we approach come from lists we have built since 2008: individuals, capital groups and private equity firms whose ability to close we have already checked. Public marketplaces, with blind ads, come later and only when needed. Each company goes to market with a confidential marketing package, a financial recast and a professionally produced HD marketing video, and the goal is several letters of intent landing at the same time. When buyers know others are bidding, they sharpen both price and terms.
A Frisco company that sells to one of the corporate headquarters here has a second audience to think about. If that account makes up a big slice of sales, buyers will ask how the relationship is secured, and we answer with contract terms, years of tenure and the names of the people who manage it on both sides, shared only after a confidentiality agreement is signed.
Working with MDR & Associates in Frisco
Because our office is here, Frisco owners can meet us on Legacy Drive, though many prefer an evening meeting at their own office or somewhere neutral. The first discovery meeting costs nothing and stays private, and after we study three years of financials you receive our opinion of value, a range with a low and a high end; the quick online version is our valuation snapshot. Michael D. Rubin founded the firm in 2008, and since then it has closed more than 250 transactions with a success rate above 90 percent.
Most sales under our ten-step process close within three to nine months of signing the engagement letter. While the company is being marketed, our VP of Client Engagement is your main point of contact, and one of the firm's principals is at the table for every negotiation. To set a time, use our Frisco contact page; for the market to the south, see Dallas.

Questions owners in Frisco ask
Can I visit MDR & Associates' Frisco office without anyone knowing why I am there?
Yes. Our office at 1518 Legacy Drive, Suite 220, is an ordinary professional suite, and nothing about your visit is shared outside the firm. If even that feels too visible, we will meet you at your business after hours or at a location you pick.
My Frisco company grew fast along with the city. Will buyers believe the growth will continue?
Buyers pay for growth they can verify. We show revenue by year, customer and service line, the contracts or backlog behind next year's numbers and the managers who produced the growth. When the story is documented, buyers price it in; when it depends on the owner, we plan a handover that lets them.
Does a Frisco location help with private equity buyers?
Private equity firms look at the company more than the address, but a Frisco base puts you inside the Dallas–Fort Worth market within reach of two major airports, which makes site visits easy. We bring those groups into the same process as individual and strategic buyers so their offers compete.
