A gristmill town on the way to Denison
When Anna was platted in 1883, it had about 20 residents, two stores, a steam gristmill and a Baptist church. In 1894 the A. Sherley and Brothers Hardware Store opened, selling furniture, farm implements, machinery, wagons, cotton, grain and groceries, a store stocked for the farm families around it.
The town counted 16,896 residents in 2020. Its largest employers now are Anna ISD, Walmart, the City of Anna, Pate Rehab and Brookshire's, which points to an economy built around schools, retail and healthcare serving a residential population. The U.S. 75 freeway runs along the west side of the city, connecting it south to Dallas and north to Denison.

Where buyers see value in a northern Collin County company
Homes need upkeep, and companies that keep them running are among the easiest businesses for buyers to understand. An HVAC, plumbing, roofing or pest control company with maintenance agreements and repeat customers is exactly what our home services practice sells. Buyers look at how many customers come back, how many trucks and technicians you run and whether a manager can handle scheduling without you.
If your company is younger and growing fast, buyers will also ask how much of that growth is repeatable. Showing the last three years side by side, with margins holding as sales rise, makes a strong case.
Financing is another piece. Many buyers of a company this size use an SBA loan, a conventional bank loan or a note carried by the seller, and each shapes how much cash you receive at closing. We explain the trade-offs so you can compare offers on more than the headline price.
How an Anna owner works with us
Our first sit-down is free and confidential and happens wherever suits you. After looking at three years of results, we put a low and a high number on the company. If a rough range would help first, try the valuation snapshot. Owners nearer the city can learn about our Dallas work, and wherever you are, no fee is due until your company is sold.

Questions owners in Anna ask
My Anna company is only a few years old. Is it too early to sell?
Buyers want at least two to three years of records that reconcile, and we work with profitable companies earning $3 million or more in revenue. If you meet that bar, a young company can sell well. If not, we can suggest what to build first.
Do buyers pay more for a company in a fast-growing area?
Growth in the area can make buyers more confident, but they pay for your earnings, not the population. The best way to benefit is to show that your own revenue and margins have grown steadily with it, year after year.
