Seagoville business brokers and M&A advisors
Planning to sell a business in Seagoville? MDR & Associates runs a confidential sale for owners like you from its base in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. The city sits on U.S. Highway 175 in the southeast corner of Dallas County, reaching into Kaufman County about 10 miles from downtown Mesquite, and we can meet you at your company whenever it suits you.
Seago's town on U.S. 175
T. K. Seago laid out the town as Seago in 1876, and it took the name Seagoville in 1910. During World War II it held a detention camp for up to 647 people, and today it is home to the Federal Correctional Institution, Seagoville. The local school district was absorbed into Dallas ISD in 1965, Dallas College serves the area, and the 2020 census counted 18,446 residents.
For a business owner, the location is the point. U.S. 175 runs through Seagoville toward Dallas in one direction and Kaufman County in the other, which lets a company here reach customers across the southeast side of the Metroplex. A buyer thinking about routes, delivery times or service territory will notice that on a map before looking at anything else.

Pricing, paperwork and the fee question
Owners often ask first what the sale will cost. Our answer is simple: we charge a success fee, owed only if and when the company sells, and the percentage gets smaller as the deal gets larger. A deal that falls through costs you nothing in fees. Our fees page explains the structure; a formal valuation or pre-exit consulting is separate and optional.
The paperwork question comes next. Buyers want three years of statements that match your tax returns, a list of customers with their share of revenue, and clear records of equipment, leases and employees. If some of that is thin, we will tell you at the first meeting, and it is usually better to fix it before going to market than to explain it during due diligence.
With our team a short drive away in the Metroplex, owner meetings, buyer tours and negotiations stay close to home, and nobody has to take a day off to travel. For the wider market, read our Dallas page or the overview of the Dallas–Fort Worth region.

Questions owners in Seagoville ask
Will buyers see Seagoville as part of the Dallas market?
Most will. The city lies mainly in Dallas County along U.S. 175, and many buyers screen for companies across the whole Metroplex rather than one suburb. What they care about most is whether your customers, crew and suppliers will stay with the business after the sale.
Can I sell my Seagoville company to a relative or an employee instead of an outside buyer?
Yes, and a sound valuation helps you do it fairly. Insider sales often need flexible terms, such as seller financing, where part of the price is paid over time. We can arrange SBA, conventional or seller-financed structures, and we compare an insider's offer with what the open market would likely pay.
