Kenedy business brokers and M&A advisors
If you own a company in Kenedy and want to sell it, MDR & Associates works for you alone: our M&A advisors handle everything from the first valuation until the sale money reaches your account. Kenedy sits in south-central Karnes County where U.S. Route 181 meets State Highway 72, about 60 miles from San Antonio. We travel to you, so the first meeting can happen at your business or somewhere private.
Kenedy's place between San Antonio, Beeville and Corpus Christi
Kenedy takes its name from Mifflin Kenedy, who bought 400,000 acres and set out to build a town that would carry his name. It grew rough enough in the early 1900s to earn the nickname Six Shooter Junction. The 2020 census counted 3,473 residents. Karnes City, the county seat, is six miles northwest, Beeville is 31 miles south, and Corpus Christi is 88 miles away.
In a town this size, the buyer for a well-run company is rarely next door. More often it is a San Antonio operator adding a location, a private equity group building across South Texas, or an individual who wants to own a business outside a big city. Those buyers will not find a Kenedy company on their own. Someone has to put it in front of them, with numbers they can trust.

Why discretion matters more in Karnes County
Confidentiality carries extra weight in a small town. Customers, employees and competitors all recognize the owner, and a rumor can travel faster than any listing. Buyers first see a blind profile that names neither the company nor the town. Before they learn more, each one signs an NDA and completes a financial profile showing it can fund the purchase. Buyers we already know hear about the company first; anonymous ads on the big business-for-sale sites come later, and only if the search needs to widen. Our South Texas region page shows how we cover the area.
Meeting a Kenedy owner and setting a price range
It begins with a discovery meeting that costs you nothing; once we have gone through three years of financials, you get an opinion of value. An owner not ready to share records can start with the valuation snapshot, which gives a quick range online. One of the firm's principals handles every negotiation personally, and our success fee is owed only when a buyer closes. For a broader view of the buyers active in the region, see our San Antonio page.

Questions owners in Kenedy ask
Can a company in a town of about 3,500 people attract serious buyers?
Yes, if the earnings are steady and the records reconcile. Buyers pay for cash flow, customers and a team that stays, not for the size of the town. What changes is the search: fewer buyers are close by, so the marketing has to reach groups in San Antonio, Corpus Christi and beyond who want exactly your kind of company.
Will I have to drive to San Antonio or Frisco for meetings about selling my Kenedy company?
No. Our corporate office is in Frisco, but our advisors come to you. Early meetings happen at your business, after hours if you prefer, or at a quiet place you choose. Buyer visits are scheduled so employees have no reason to wonder, and much of the paperwork moves by secure email and phone.
