Cibolo's growth from 3,035 residents to more than 32,000
Cibolo, whose name means buffalo, grew up when the Southern Pacific Railroad built through the area toward Houston and San Antonio, in country settled largely by German emigrants in the mid-1800s. It incorporated in 1965. The recent change has been dramatic: 3,035 residents in 2000, 15,349 in 2010 and 32,276 in 2020.
The city lies in Guadalupe and Bexar counties, within the San Antonio–New Braunfels metropolitan area, bordered by Schertz on the north and west. Interstate 35 and Interstate 10 serve it, along with Farm to Market Roads 78 and 1103.

Growth is an asset only if the books show it
Rapid residential growth tends to favor companies that serve homes and the businesses that grow up around them. A buyer will ask whether your revenue rose along with the population, whether your margins held while you added staff, and whether systems and managers are in place to handle more. Clear answers to those questions support a higher multiple. We show those answers with year-by-year figures rather than general claims.
Buyers will also study how much of the business runs through you personally. If you still quote every job or hold every key customer relationship, planning a handoff before a sale can add real value. Our firm has sold home-service and business-service companies across Texas, and our business services page outlines what buyers look for.
Our role for Cibolo owners
We represent owners only. There is no office in the San Antonio area; the firm is based in Frisco, and an advisor comes to Cibolo for meetings at your business or somewhere private. Every company goes to market with a confidential package, a financial recast and an HD video. We then collect several letters of intent at once and present every one to you in person. Our fees are paid only if the sale closes, and a business valuation is a good first step if you are unsure about timing.

Questions owners in Cibolo ask
Does Cibolo's population growth mean I should sell now or wait?
Timing depends on your company's results and your own plans more than on the town's growth. If earnings are rising, waiting a year can raise the price; if they have flattened, selling on a strong record may be wiser. A free opinion of value shows where you stand, and we will tell you honestly if waiting makes sense.
Will buyers from San Antonio see my Cibolo company as part of their market?
They may well, since Cibolo is in the San Antonio–New Braunfels metropolitan area and close to both cities. That can widen the pool to strategic buyers already working nearby. We also reach individual buyers and private equity groups from elsewhere, so you are never limited to whoever happens to know the local market.
