Atascocita business brokers and M&A advisors
Atascocita owners ready to sell can put MDR & Associates to work as M&A advisors, with us from the first valuation through the closing. The community lies on the western shore of Lake Houston in Harris County, and we meet you at your office, your shop or a quiet table somewhere near Humble.
Lakeside neighborhoods built since the 1970s
Atascocita takes its name from the Atascocito military outpost and road the Spanish built in 1756, but construction of today's community began only in the 1970s. By the 1990s it included fifteen neighborhoods and was among the quickest-growing developments in Greater Houston. It is an unincorporated census-designated place in Harris County, spread north and south of Farm to Market Road 1960, about six miles east of Humble and 18 miles northeast of downtown Houston, with 12,000-acre Lake Houston along its eastern edge.
The population reached 88,174 in 2020, up from 65,844 in 2010, and the 2020 median household income was $103,676. Subdivisions such as Eagle Springs, Walden on Lake Houston, The Groves and Atascocita Shores sit beside golf courses including Atascocita Country Club and Tour 18, and students attend the Humble Independent School District.

Why buyers like service companies built on suburban homes
A community of 88,174 people, most of them living in subdivisions, creates steady demand for HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, pest control, pool care and repair companies. That repeat work is what buyers pay for. Private equity groups and larger service companies look for maintenance agreements, a clean record of reviews and warranties, trained technicians and dispatch systems that work without the owner. Our home services practice is built around sales of these companies.
Before going to market, it helps to separate recurring maintenance revenue from one-time installs, show customer retention year over year and document how leads come in. Buyers pay more for revenue they can predict. Owners who still answer the phones or write every estimate should expect questions about that, and a plan to hand those jobs to a manager helps.
Meeting owners on the Lake Houston side of the metro
Frisco is headquarters, but Atascocita meetings happen in person, near you. Read our Houston page for the metro as a whole and the Gulf Coast region overview for the buyers active along the coast. You pay nothing for the discovery meeting, one of the principals takes the lead each time price or terms are on the table, and our fee depends on a completed sale.

Questions owners in Atascocita ask
Is there buyer demand for home-services companies in Atascocita?
Companies with recurring service agreements, trained technicians and steady margins draw strong interest, including from private equity groups building regional platforms. A large base of households around Lake Houston helps. We present your maintenance revenue, customer retention and team so buyers can see why the earnings should continue after you step away.
My company is in unincorporated Harris County. Does that affect a sale?
Not in itself. Buyers focus on earnings, customers and licenses rather than city limits. What matters is that permits, contractor licenses, vehicle registrations and leases are current and in the company's name. We help you gather those documents early so due diligence moves quickly and nothing surprises the buyer.
