Rosenberg business brokers and M&A advisors
When a Rosenberg owner decides to sell, MDR & Associates serves as the seller's M&A advisor, handling the valuation, the search for buyers and the negotiation. Rosenberg sits on the south bank of the Brazos River next to Richmond, the Fort Bend County seat, with Interstate 69 running through its south side toward Houston, 32 miles away. Our advisors meet you where you are, at your business or somewhere private.
A railroad name and a growing Fort Bend city
Rosenberg is named for Henry Rosenberg, who came to Galveston from Switzerland in 1843 and became the first president of the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway. The city has grown from 1,198 residents in 1910 to 30,618 in 2010 and 38,282 in the 2020 census. It borders Richmond to the northeast, Pleak to the south and Beasley to the southwest. OakBend Medical Center serves the county from here, and the Fort Bend Epicenter arena opened in 2023.
Interstate 69 matters to a buyer. It connects Rosenberg with Houston in one direction and Victoria, 92 miles southwest, in the other, so a company based here can serve the metro and the country toward Victoria from one yard. Distributors, trades and service companies with routes along that corridor are easy for regional acquirers to picture inside their own operations. Our distribution page explains what buyers of wholesale and logistics companies look for.

Before a Rosenberg company goes to market
Growth like Rosenberg's can hide problems in a company's numbers. Revenue may be rising while margins slip, or a few new customers may account for most of the gain. Buyers will find those patterns, so we find them first. The financial recast adjusts for owner expenses and one-time items and shows margins year by year. Where something needs fixing, we tell you before the company goes to market, not after a buyer has raised it. A buyer who finds nothing new in due diligence has no reason to reopen the price.
Our process from the first meeting
Everything starts with a free, confidential discovery meeting. We then give you a low-to-high opinion of value, prepare the marketing package and HD video, and show buyers a blind profile, releasing details only to those who sign an NDA and prove their funding. When several letters of intent arrive, a principal of the firm reviews each one with you, and every offer is presented to you in person. See the fees page and our Houston page for details.

Questions owners in Rosenberg ask
Does being next to Richmond, the county seat, help a Rosenberg company?
Mostly it helps customers find you. For buyers, what counts is that the company sits in a growing part of the Houston metro with Interstate 69 at hand. Access to Fort Bend County customers, plus a route toward Victoria, can make a company more useful to a regional acquirer, and we point that out in the marketing package.
Can I sell my Rosenberg company to a key employee instead of an outside buyer?
Yes. An employee buyer often needs financing, and we can help arrange SBA, conventional or seller-financed structures. We still recommend testing the market, because outside offers show what the company is worth and give you a fair basis for negotiating with someone you know well.
