Sienna business brokers and M&A advisors
Sienna is a master-planned community of 20,204 residents in Fort Bend County, 27 miles south of downtown Houston with the Brazos River just to the west. If you live here and own a company you are ready to sell, our firm can take the role of M&A advisor for you, and one of our advisors will sit down with you at the company or somewhere discreet close to home.
From plantation land to a planned community of 20,000
The land was a sugar and cotton plantation worked by enslaved people; Jonathan D. Waters bought it in 1840. Development began in 1978, the first homes sold in 1996, and by 2009 some 5,000 of the 5,200 planned homes were occupied. In May 2019 the community dropped the word Plantation from its name. Most of Sienna lies in Missouri City's extraterritorial jurisdiction, with the rest in Arcola's, and Oyster Creek runs through its center.
The census counted 13,721 residents in 2010 and 20,204 in 2020. Median household income for 2010 to 2014 was reported at $130,300, and Fort Bend ISD runs Ridge Point High School and Almeta Crawford High School, which opened in 2023, inside the community.

Keeping your neighbors out of your deal
In a community built around schools, parks and a golf course, your neighbors may be customers, parents of your employees or even competitors. A sale that leaks early can unsettle staff and invite rivals to call your accounts. So we keep it quiet: the first profile a buyer reads leaves out your name, and full details go only to buyers who sign a nondisclosure agreement and document the money behind their offer.
The buyers themselves usually come from the larger Houston market or beyond: private equity groups, bigger companies expanding into Fort Bend County and individual buyers with financing lined up. We contact buyers in our own database first. Our Houston page describes that market, and the Gulf Coast region page shows the rest of our coverage.
If you want a sense of value before anyone else is involved, try our valuation snapshot, which asks a handful of questions and returns an estimated range. From there, a confidential meeting with an advisor and a review of three years of statements produce a fuller opinion of value, with the reasoning behind both ends of the range.

Questions owners in Sienna ask
I own a company in Missouri City but live in Sienna. Does that change anything about the sale?
Not for the buyer, who is buying the company and its earnings, not your address. It matters only for logistics and privacy. We can hold meetings at your company after hours, at your attorney's conference room or somewhere neutral, so neither your neighbors nor your staff see a parade of visitors.
How do I explain my company's value to buyers who have never been to Sienna or Fort Bend County?
We do most of that explaining for you. The confidential package and HD video show what the company does, who its customers are and why they return. Buyers from Houston, other states or private equity groups care about the numbers first, and a recast of three years of statements makes those numbers easy to follow.
