Iowa Park business brokers and M&A advisors
If you own a company in Iowa Park and are weighing a sale, MDR & Associates is a Texas sell-side firm, not business brokers who list and wait, and our advisors come to Wichita County to meet you. In a town of 6,535 people, where the 1960s state football titles are still remembered, keeping a sale private until the right moment usually matters as much as the price.
A railroad switch, then oil, then the Wichita Falls highway
Iowa Park began in 1888 as Daggett Switch, a stop on the Fort Worth and Denver City Railway laid out by D. C. and A. J. Kolp. It became a shipping point for cotton and wheat, survived a drought in the early 1890s and then lost people in the early 1900s until oil was found in 1918. A concrete highway to Wichita Falls followed in 1927. The town held its population through the mid-1930s while most others shrank, and it grew again by about a fifth in the late 1960s.
Today Iowa Park is part of the Wichita Falls metropolitan area, which means a local company can draw customers from a much bigger market than the town itself.

Keeping a sale quiet where everyone knows the owner
In a small town, a rumor that the owner is selling can unsettle employees, customers and suppliers overnight. That is why buyers never see your name at the start. They receive a profile that describes the company without identifying it, and only after they sign a confidentiality agreement and complete a financial profile do they learn more. We approach our own list of qualified buyers before anything is advertised, and even then any listing is blind.
Meetings happen after hours or away from the shop. Owners of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other trade companies often find that a buyer from outside the area is the best fit, because a local competitor would learn too much too soon. Our home services practice handles exactly these companies.
What we ask for, and what you get back
We work with profitable companies of $3 million to $100 million in annual revenue whose books reconcile for at least two or three years. Bring three years of statements to the first free meeting and you will leave with a value range. From there, how we sell a business covers the marketing package, the HD video and the offers. Other markets across the region are listed on our West & North Texas page.

Questions owners in Iowa Park ask
Would a buyer from outside Wichita County want an Iowa Park company?
Often yes. Individual buyers relocating to Texas, capital groups and larger companies in the same trade all look beyond big cities for profitable businesses with loyal customers. Your reach across the Wichita Falls metro, a stable team and clean books matter more to them than the size of the town.
How do I stop my employees in Iowa Park from hearing about the sale?
Your name never appears in marketing. Buyers sign a confidentiality agreement before learning who you are, and we schedule calls and site visits outside working hours. Most owners tell key staff close to closing, and we help plan that conversation so it lands well.
