MDR & Associates closes 6th transaction of 2014 with add-on acquisition for Metroplex Battery

By Michael D. Rubin, CEO & Founder · January 1970
MDR & Associates continues an explosive year of business acquisition activity with a sixth closing for the year on April 1. A previous client notified MDR & Associates and asked the CEO, Michael Rubin for assistance in purchasing a smaller battery distributor in the Dallas area. After some heated negotiations and talks with various vendors of the smaller company, Metroplex made the decision to acquire and moved quickly to close within 2 weeks of the initial call. MDR & Associates CEO, Michael Rubin comments on the transaction. “It is our single greatest compliment when a previous client calls us and asks for our help in an acquisition. We love people, love the art of the deal and love to get our clients to the finish line in the M & A space. It’s who we are and it’s what we were meant to do. We always keep our client’s goals and objectives as our sole focus in a transaction.”
